The Utrecht Art Supply Outlet Store Helps Out

Next week is the South Amboy annual window painting contest done by the local children. This year the organization was in a bind and could not get their art supplies on time.  After working with the administrator, the Utrecht Outlet Store was able to supply them everything they needed for the event. They will paint the storefront windows all week and the judging will take place on the weekend. Good Luck to all the participants !!!!!

In-Store Specials Update…
I still have a few over sized canvases left but, they are going fast. Call me if you are interested in them. Also, don’t forget, if there are items you need and don’t have time to browse, call ahead, give me the items needed and I’ll have them ready for you when you get here.

Looking for Art Lessons in central New Jersey?

Based on the Renaissance model of the Atelier, Marcel’s Art Studio attracts people of all ability levels who are interested in developing their skills in oil painting, drawing, airbrush, pastels, pen and ink, and watercolor.

After a series of introductory exercises, students select their own subjects and media and work at their own pace under the guidance of Marcel Franquelin, a classically trained artist with 30 years of experience. Check out the Students section of the website for testimony to the caliber of the learning experience and the consequent products.

In addition to studio practice, students are encouraged to participate in exhibitions and art competitions. There are a variety of membership programs to accomodate students’ personal schedules and needs.

Please visit Marcel’s site for more information.
